Alturas carefully assesses potential and reduces risks as projects advance along the exploration “pipeline”. Property exploration begins with definition of geological and mineralization models. Initial surface exploration aims to define the size and strength of the mineralization “footprint”. Projects with strong indications of mineralization and/or coincident anomalies receive a wide spaced phase one drilling campaign to demonstrate the extent and grade of mineralization. Areas with positive drilling results are slated for follow up drilling to further assess potential value. Subsequent systematic drilling is aimed at increasing confidence and projects with encouraging results are advanced into the resource definition stage.
